Ed and Ros, the partners behind Stabo, started selling a range of customised mens shirts from a stall at
Portobello in 2004 but unfortunately they were quite a hard sell. Undeterred by their slow start they started experimenting.
One of their efforts was screen printed mens ties. These proved to be such a hit that they devoted an entire stall to screen printed and customised ties for Christmas 2004. By January 2005 they had added handbags and screen printed wallets to their collection.
Since then their product range has grown and grown it now includes a wide variety of screen printed accessories,
mens and womens bags and a small clothing range all produced in their studio in Norfolk or by British manufacturers.
They sell these items weekly from stalls at Spitalfields and Sunday Upmarket at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane.
